I would like to show recognition of the superb work of a mashup artist that I have been following for some time now. She goes by the name Laura B Deejay, not to be confused with DJ Laura B, and she can be found at Laura B Mashup on YT.

She has worked with up and coming, and established DJ's, and she is set to make a huge name for herself, and I would like to present to you some of the tracks that I personally found to be absolutely fantastic.

This is a blend of two great tracks, Tatu – All the things she said and Katy Perry – ET. This track is beautifully crafted, with perfect balance and attention to detail, very catchy tune, I love it.

She has also created what I think is the best mashup of PSY's Gangnam Style, called Fantastic Gangnam Jam 한국어 표시 - Laura B Mashup (meets BIGBANG).

This is a flawless and brilliant mashup, It's awesome. A mashup of BIGBANG's Fantastic Baby and PSY Gangnam Style. BIGBANG are a south korean boy band who formed in 2006.

Excellent flow with a great beat, and the unmistakable sound of Dorothy Sherman belting out about a third of the way through with 'Can't stop me now'.

Check out her YT channel, there are a shed load of fantastic mashups to be found, I will be following her for the foreseeable future at the very least.

Someone else I have been following on YT is a group of people making the best parodies I've seen in a long time. Very professionally done, beautiful attention to detail, and very, very funny. I'm talking about 'The Key of Awesome', found on YT's Barely Political channel.

They report to making two videos a week, usually a parody and accompanying videos of the actors and behind the scenes. Everyone involved is an accomplished actor in their own right and physical and vocal resemblance is sometimes pretty amazing. They have their own website at

The gorgeous Andrea Feczko plays the part of Kesha in the parodies. Not being a big fan of Kesha, probably because she looks like a smelly mare who doesn't wash very often, I was surprised to find that I wasn't the only one who felt this way, as the parodies of Kesha seem to theme around the fact that she is a smelly mare who doesn't wash very often. How she finds the time for this I don't know, as she is a very busy girl

Lagy Gaga is played by the absolutley stunning Lauren Francesca. She has worked in movies, TV, and video's, has her own YT channel and also a website.

Kelli Mandruk plays the part of Katy Perry, an established actress starring in Rules of Engagement, Entourage & Blood Island, to name but only a couple of projects under her belt, http://www.imdb.com/name/nm1824972/

Barely Political and The Key of Awesome are the brainchild of the two two main members of the show Ben Relles and Mark Douglas in 2009.
